St Peter's Brewery
Who loves a well-bodied pale ale that hits the palate with a good dose of caramel flavours? Bitters are one of the oldest and most-loved beer varieties. In fact, the flavours are so pleasant, the strength of a brew is ranked using the terms ordinary, best, special, extra special, and premium (ascending in strength in to that order, with “ordinary” being mild, and “premium” being extra strong) – instead of mild, strong, and extra strong. That speaks volumes about the popularity of this beverage. The bitterness of the beer is attributed to the hops, with many varieties offering a wealth of flavour alongside a crisp and candid bitterness.
The colours of the ales range as much as the flavours do, with certain varieties appearing golden and light, and then descending into darker and more caramel-coloured ales.
We bring all the flavours, all the colours, and all the choices that exist in the Bitter range to low alcohol and alcohol-free markets. Sip on your favourite brew without limits. We only showcase the Bitters varieties that are strictly at 1% alcohol or below, falling into the category of low alcohol, alcohol-free, zero-alcohol or de-alcoholised. For those avoiding all alcohol for health reasons, please get your doctor’s go-ahead before you indulge.
